Psychotherapy for adolescents & adults
I’m a therapist, but I’m also someone who has lived a lot of life.
I earned my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Dominican University of California in 2024 and have completed more than 2,500 hours working with adolescents and young adults.
But my perspective comes from more than my clinical training. Before becoming a therapist, I was a stay-at-home mother for sixteen years. I’ve spent twenty years in recovery and 12-step programs, and my life has included eating disorders, financial insecurity, cross-country moves, parenting children with learning differences, and confronting the ways our earliest patterns can show up in our families. I graduated from the Hoffman Process in 2019.
I share this because I believe life experience matters. All of this is to say, I get it—and I feel compelled to put it out there. My goal with all of my clients is not just that they feel seen, but that they feel known.
how I work
I integrate CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy in my practice, along with training in Psychodynamic and Existential-Humanistic approaches. Ultimately, the framework we use depends on you—your needs, your goals, and what feels most helpful.
I work primarily with adolescents and adults, with a particular focus on substance use, anxiety, depression and ADHD.
partnering with me
Before you contact me, I want you to know that I believe:
• In connection over being right, especially when it comes to parenting teenagers
• I have never, ever met a “bad kid”
• In humility, personal accountability, and problem solving
• That you can be your own hero
• In staying curious
• In the unwavering potential of the human spirit
I work best with individuals—and, in some cases, families—who are open to looking honestly at what’s going on, understanding old patterns, and making changes that actually last.
Rates & Insurance
Sessions are 50 minutes.
• In-person and telehealth, $175 per session
• Family/parent sessions, with child, $225 per session
I do not take insurance, but am happy to provide a superbill at the end of every month
office hours
I intentionally keep my practice small, seeing clients two days a week, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from late morning to early evening. This allows me to be thoughtful about who I work with and to give each client the time, attention, and presence they deserve. I believe the right fit matters, so I’m selective about the clients I take on.
